This MSI Automation, Inc. Mobile Induction Heating System is fully self-contained with its own water cooling system. The built-in water cooling system includes; 6 gallon SS water tank, quad air-to-water heat integral exchangers with a maximum of 19,000 BTU capacity, 1/2 h.p. water pump, and water distribution system. The front of the unit, as shown, features the controls to include; 7 status lamps indicating operating conditions and alarms, power control knob (0-100%), On/Off switches, Lamp Test and Power Switch, Digital Timer Switch, Master Key Switch and 60 Amp 2-position main power Disconnect Switch. The induction power unit is a transistorized system capable of 20-40 kHz operation.
Mobility is achieved by two rear mounted directional wheels with wheel locking brake levers and four smaller rubber wheels in the front. The top of the unit is recessed for storing tools and holding the Hand Held Heating Head. A 15 foot long 4-wire power cable is at the rear for connecting to the customer's electrical outlet.

Front Water distribution System, Transformer and Capacitor set. | Heavy 1.5 lb. (0.7 kg) Copper electrical bus strap is heated to 1600F (900 C) in 30 sec's. The U-shape Heating Coil is designed for heating bus bar. The thick ceramic coated heating coil slides over the heavy copper plate without danger of electrical short. The hand unit is light weight, has two handles and a power switch. The purpose of the hand unit's internal transformer is to convert the mobile unit's high voltage output to high heating coil amperage. |
